Entry into the library

Entry into the KUHeS libraries is subjected to the following rules:

Disturbance

A person shall not make a noise, cause a disturbance, make or take mobile calls, hold public meetings or demonstrations, within the Libraries, or behave in such a manner that would interfere with or impact negatively on study and research activities of library users.

Cell phones

All mobile phones must be on silent mode.  Making or taking mobile phone calls in the Libraries is prohibited.

Food and drink

Food may not be consumed in the Libraries. Drinks are permitted only in special library-approved spill-proof containers.  Smoking, including electronic cigarettes is not permitted.

Infringement

Any person infringing the rules of conduct may be required to leave the library and/or have library privileges suspended or withdrawn and/or face disciplinary proceedings.

Ticket transferability

Library reader’s tickets are not transferable , i.e. they cannot be used at any other  KUHeS libraries apart from the home library, nor by any other users.

Lost property

Leaving of personal valuable items such as calculators, money purses, watches, etc. shall be at owner’s risk.
